The base is set, the powder is down and from the bunny slopes to the black diamond run, skiers around Montana are ready to hit the slopes!

Skiers, the time is here!!! On Thanksgiving Day, Discovery Ski Area will open for the 2015-16 season. It's one of the perks of living in the Treasure State. Throughout the year you have access to some of the best outdoor activities in the country. Fishing and Hunting are available year-round and the spring and summer are perfect for those interested in the likes of camping, cycling or just taking in the majestic scenery.

But for those itching to hit the slopes, this holiday weekend (Thursday through Sunday) the resort will discount adult lift tickets to $24 and child lift tickets to $. Half day and senior discounts do not apply.

All weekend the Easy Chair and Jubilee chairlifts will be operating. Lift hours are from 9:30am-4:00pm. The ticket office and rental shop hours are 9am-4.30pm and the café and pub hours are 9am-5pm. Half day tickets start at 12:30.
