Tis’ the season for giving, and when you take a look at your life there is always someone who has it worse off than you. If you're in any position to give, you should. Whether you volunteer at the local food bank or homeless shelter, donate food, money or gifts to those in need or lend a helping hand.
Even if you’re making a difference for one person it means the world to them.
In the few weeks leading up to Christmas, busyness and chaos seems to be constant. It’s so easy to forget what the season is all about. It’s important to step back and focus on what is important - spending time with loved ones, our faith and focusing on holiday traditions to capture this magical time of year.
This year I put on my first holiday food drive combined with a raffle for a Keurig Coffee Machine. Thank you to all who donated food and gave cash donations to the Granite County Food Bank. It is so very much appreciated in the Philipsburg, Drummond and Hall communities. Also, thank you to those who “liked”, shared and commented on the Alicia Hicks Real Estate Facebook ad.
Congratulations to BONNIE WEAVER!!! You are the winner of the Keurig Coffee Machine!
Merry Christmas everyone! I wish you a wonderful holiday!!
